Join NICER and the Penokee Rangers for the 3rd annual Hygge [Hoo-ga] Hike!

This year's hike, HYGGE HIKE AT NIGHT, will take place from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 27th, which is also a full moon night. Candle luminaries will line the 1.5 mile casual snowshoe hike through a portion of the Historic Montreal Ski trails!

PARTICIPANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO WEAR ANYTHING THAT GLOWS (GLOW STICKS, BRIGHT REFLECTIVE CLOTHING, ETC.)

A $10 suggested donation per family will be accepted at the trailhead, which will benefit NICER and Penokee Rangers, Inc.

Due to COVID-19, the chili cookoff portion of this event has been canceled this year. NICER is following recommended COVID-19 safety guidelines at this event. We ask that all volunteers and participants MASK UP when social distancing is not possible. If you are feeling under the weather or have been around a COVID positive individual, please stay home.
