The Penokee Rangers are working on a major project that is going to help us bridge the gap into the next generation of our grooming and trail maintenance operations on Montreal and Uller Ski Trails!
the gist is this:
We will be purchasing an electric vehicle and updated track assemblies to replace our aging, gas-powered UTV that we've been using since 2013. Our mission is two-fold:
Upgrade our equipment to ensure that we have zero down-time in coming seasons so that we can continue providing FREE trail-use to our community and visitors as we have been for 50 years.
Begin replacing our primary equipment with more modern versions that will reduce our dependence on gas and oil.
We need to raise about $50k to accomplish our goals.
